Welcome to an early version of a website which will, in time, give a more interesting view of the history of the village of Ashill in Somerset. At present there will be some of the census returns, parts of the Parish Registers going back to the 16th century, maps and other pieces of historical interest. In time we hope to include pictures, histories of the older houses, audio clips and any other information which will tell the story of our village.
