Meat Bingo The Christmas Fair this year
will be held on the 26th November at 2.30pm at the Village Hall. If

know on 01823 480670 as soon as possible thank you. A Christmas Craft Market will
be held in Ashill Village Hall on Sunday 30th October from 11am to 4pm.
A wide range of goods will be on sale including cards, pictures, fimo
figures, jewellery, Indian textiles and re-cycled art for the home.
This will be an ideal opportunity to do some early Christmas shopping
or perhaps treat yourself to some unusual items. Trafalgar Day Concert A concert with a maritime theme and buffet supper is planned for Saturday 22nd October in the village hall. are advised of a meeting to be held regarding the future of their Village
Hall. The meeting will be at the Hall on Saturday 18th September at
5.30pm. The purpose of the meeting is to decide the future of the hall
by voting for Option 1 or Option 2. Further details on the Hall page. 11th of September is the annual sponsored walk or bike ride held from 10am to 6pm around the local Churches and Chapels. Most of the places are open and providing much needed refreshments. If anyone would like to join in by walking, cycling or welcoming people into the Church, please contact Jo Lea 01460 55453. There will be a walking TREASURE HUNT around the village on Saturday 20th September. Starting at the Hall at 2.30pm the hunt should take about an hour and a half, with tea, coffee and cake for the adults and squash for the children. There will be a separate hunt for the under-12s with good prizes for both groups (A bottle of Brut Chardonnay and two children's tickets for the Tropiquaria). Enjoy the fun and discover bits of Ashill you may not have known before. ANNUAL PLAYING FIELDS SUMMER BARBEQUE AND DANCE NIGHT.
